Rainbow Six Siege Review

Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft’s continuation of the Rainbow Six series is one of the best shooters that I’ve ever played. There are a few things that you need to know before going to pick up this game.

The premise is that a new threat called the “white mask” which as you can tell is a very original name. Rainbow team is being reassembled to counter the threat. Which leads you to the some what lacking single player. Essentially single player involves a series of different situations that you have to beat, such as rescue hostage and disarm bomb. There is only one campaign like map that you can play with others online. No spoiler when it comes to this series but it looks due for a sequel.

Multiplayer is extremely competitive, with several different maps and game types. However the games uniqueness comes from the various operators that you can unlock. Each operator has different equipment allowing you to gain different advantages in your attempt to achieve the objective.

When it comes to additional content, there is some annoyance that the season pass does not include new maps or addition to the story. What it does come with are new and additional operators and only 8 of them to be released in various stages.

Regardless of the lack of the campaign or the lack of content in the season pass, Rainbow Six Siege is certainly one game you should get.
